Can we

Ok Ladies,

I have a question that God will not let off my mind so I am sending out to you all to get some opinions and some answers.

I am at home today just kind of spending some time with God, and I am waiting for the kitchen floor to dry so here we go.

I have heard teaching where the tongue is compared to a sword (can't find any scripture to support this). I know that in the tongue is death and life and that it wounds and will start forest fires.

So my question is this, if I using my tongue and slicing and dicing up anyone that is christian, am I also slicing and dicing up the Holy Spirit in them? I know that we are told not to grieve the Holy Spirit and I think that this is one of the ways that I do. But if I am grieving the Holy Spirit in me can I also grieve the Holy Spirit in someone else so that Holy Spirit can not act as the Breast Plate to protect the person?

Because if this is true and something that can happen, it makes bringing the tongue/mouth under control that much more important, because when I sin the Word tells me that I only sin against God.

Love you all,
Sallye

New watch scripture

New watch scripture God has given me is Luke 1:4 [My purpose is] that you may know the full truth and understand with certainty and security against error the accounts (histories) and doctrines of the faith of which you have been informed and in which you have been orally instructed.

I have heard this scripture before either at the Joyce Meyer Conference or on the CD we listened to on the way home. I am discovering that I can not be a Jew and a Christian at the same time. It just doesn't work for me. I have several friends that can blend the two and have a beautiful, single walk, but then I know others that it doesn't work so well for me included. I have used the jewish side to hide behind and to find fault with brothers and sisters in Christ that did not believe the way I do. God is bringing me back to the begining and telling me that I need to understand that Jesus was a jew along with all of his apostles and Paul, but that is it. I am not a jew-I am a christian and need to believe like one.

Luke 1:14 NKJV "And you will have joy and gladness and many will rejoice at his birth." I am claiming the first part of the scripture, because this is a promise from God delivered by an angel of the Lord, to a man that had followed all commanded to him by the Torah, but had no children.
Luke 1:17 NKJV "He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." This is who I am suppose to be, a people made ready for the Lord. and this is whom I am suppose to be a people that is turning hearts of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just.

Father , I want a gentler and kinder spirit that what I have shown, and Father I know that the minute I ask for this that You are going to present me with chances to show that kinder spirit to others, and that my true heart will be revealed and that I will fail, then I can come and say Father I screwed up, and if you do not step in and show me the way to a kinder way a gentler way that I will do it again. Did I just say that show me the way? Look Father I am learning a small minute way already. Show me your ways Father, I love you. Father, show me how to release the Holy Spirit in my life so that He fills me from head to toe. Thank you Father, I ask this in Jesus name Amen.

Joyce Meyer Conference Notes Thursday Night

Thursday night

Ephesians 1:4 Amped Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.

We trust Jesus to make us what we ought to be.

God is not an angry God.
God is not mad at me.

Just keep pressin in and pressin on.

Text for Conference:
John 14:6 Amped Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

Have to have a standards to live by and draw lines that we quit moving.

The part we don't want to believe of the Bible, are the parts that alter our lives.

God will give double for your trouble-but you have to do it God's way.

Flesh is full of sin principle even after we are saved.

If you don't feed your spirit, you can defeat the flesh.

Pray Exodus 33:18 Amped And Moses said, I beseech You, show me Your glory.

Jesus is way-to live.
Jesus came to be an example.

Need to work on self with God.
Tonight God wants to speak to me.

There is a way to live and a way not to live.
I have to care more about what God wants then what the world wants.

Early Christians were called the way.
Acts 9:2 Amped And requested of him letters to the synagogues at Damascus [authorizing him], so that if he found any men or women belonging to the Way [of life as determined by faith in Jesus Christ], he might bring them bound [with chains] to Jerusalem.

Christians should have a different lifestyle. Lifestyle is our habits.

I need to make a decision to order my life instead of my life ordering me.

You can have a love-without being in love.

Proverbs 14:12 Amped There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.

This scripture shows the wrong way...the way that feels right to the flesh..but we do not live by the flesh.

If we really wanted to change we would change faster......
This really stepped all over my toes...

If you're gonna live the right way, you have to do it on purpose.

Can you imagine Jesus being late or rushed? If we want change, we have to be responsible and accountable for our actions.
Treat others right, be patient with people, patience is a fruit that grows under pressure.

We are to effect-not be infected.

Psalm 37:5 Amped Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

Quit trying to figure everything out, it's ok not to know everything.

The more experience you get with God, the easier it gets.

If I make a mistake it's not that big of a deal.

God knew what He was getting when He got me.

Have to change talk, have to change thoughts. Make peace a habit.

Stop giving some one else the responsibility for your personal happiness.

The ones that walk the narrow path are world changers. The longer you walk with God the narrower the path will become.

We live in a society that has instant everything.

Matt 10:39 Amped Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].

I am going to have the life Jesus died to give me.

The biggest mistake we make is asking self what we thing about God's will. Dead people don't vote.

Revolution sudden completed change...People don't need revival, the need revolution.

Whatever God gives you, He expects you to give it away.

God show us Your Ways

Free to fly

Joyce Meyer conference..set free to fly..more later

Ok ladies,

I need some serious prayer please. I have lost the conference high....or better yet, I jumped so far out of the spirit and into the flesh, that the Holy Spirit is still probably spittin dust out of His mouth. Amen.

Please be praying for me and my family. My poor husband Rusty has teeth marks from head to toe from where I have chewed him up and spit him out. God is allowing me to be tested and tempted and I am failing. demon took a magnify glass to a small problem and made it huge, which in turn created a huge reaction, and my mouth just opened up and vomited all sorts of hurt filled thing all over the closest receiver which was Rusty. I made the man cry by hitting below the belt. Yes, I have ask him to forgive me...

Chapter One Study Questions

Father G-d, Thank you for this day. Thank you for the time spend in fellowship with the members of Freedom Fellowship. Thank you for the word that was taught tonight, and thank you for showing me that I am a gossip, slanderer, talebearer, and the remaining seven deadly sins of the tongue. Father, I come before and I ask you humbly to forgive me of my sins. Father, I have chosen the world today over you. Father forgive me for remaining silent when I should have spoken up, and forgive me for jumping in the middle of Rusty, and chewing and cussing him for the actions of his mother. Father how is it that I could come from a lesson that just dealt with the words of our mouth and let such ugly ones out of mine. Guess I did not ask for that muzzle in time. Father please show me another way. Father thank you that Your word promises that if I ask for forgiveness from my sins that you are just and fair to forgive them. Father as I work on What Happens when women say yes to G-d, that you will loose the Holy Spirit to instruct me. Father I bind any hindrance from allow me to hear you and be alert, and loose awareness and attentiveness. Thank you for all that You are. In the power of Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Chapter One Study Questions.

Did the story about the man on the airplane and giving him the Bible inspire you? How?
No, I was just wondering if She ever got the Bible back. I do not think that I am to the point of evangelism, I am still working on just hearing G-d and saying yes to Him. I know that evangelism is suppose to be a natural part of my salvation, I am suppose to want to tell everyone about the one that saved me, and I will, but sometimes I think that salvation gets in the way of ministry, and I had rather see G-d minister to an open gaping wound, then see G-d ignore the wound to make sure the person has made a profession of faith. How can a profession have feet if the wound is left open and gaping?

What is holding you back from going deeper in your relationship with G-d?

Time

Intimidation

Not feeling like the Bible applies to your everyday life

Seems to hard

Comment on one or more of the above or another thing you sense holding you back. Me, I am not giving G-d my all in any area of my life, and until I surrender to Him totally, I can move no further.

Read Psalm 19:7-10

7-9 The revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together. The signposts of God are clear and point out the right road. The life-maps of God are right, showing the way to joy. The directions of God are plain and easy on the eyes. God's reputation is twenty-four-carat gold, with a lifetime guarantee. The decisions of God are accurate down to the nth degree. 10 God's Word is better than a diamond, better than a diamond set between emeralds. You'll like it better than strawberries in spring, better than red, ripe strawberries.

List what the above promises about G-d's Word. It's whole and pulls our lives together, it's the signpost and points out the right road, the life-maps, showing the way to joy. Plain and easy on the eyes, twenty-four-cart gold, lifetime guarantee. Accurate, better than a diamond, better that a diamond between emeralds, like strawberries in spring, better than red ripe strawberries in spring. G-d just brought to my mind the add on tv where the two women are eating yogurt at a wedding reception and talking about how much better the yogurt is than most other things.

Why would we be lackadaisical about the most eternally significant relationship there is? Because it is very hard to have a relationship with someone you can not now nor at any time been able to see, hear, touch, or smell, because I am a very physical person. I like to touch. I am not know for my faithfulness to my family, I am selfish.

Read Deuteronomy 6:5 Amplified Bible

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.

Think I will stop here, review and rethink. I hope to work on this while I am gone.

Is it Thursday yet?

Tomorrow Patience and I leave to attend Joyce Meyer in Dallas. We were talking earlier today about how we should have left today. We are both so anxious to get there and hear G-d speak to us. So question to myself is why am I waiting for Joyce to speak to me? Why can't I just go to G-d and say please speak to me? Could it be because I don't want to hear Him? I don't trust myself or that if it comes from a man/woman of G-d it has more weight? Probably all of the above. G-d is moving me, I can see it and feel it. Still just standing on the edge of the table not willing to jump, and I know that the table is fixin to start tilting-so will I jump in to the waiting arms of my Savior, or will I run back to the other end of the table thinking it will level it back out.

So much sad news today. Gavin 3 year old from another blog site starts chemo this week for brain cancer. Gentleman in our emmaus community is in the final stages of brain cancer. Patience husband is suppose to enter a halfway house to get off of whatever drugs he is on, Magan, Kevin and the kids have moved back from Bryan/College Station and have moved into a house that the owners have not moved out of, (their underwear is still in the drawers) God this seems so unfair, and yet I know that at all times You are in control. And I have to trust You, which is hard at times. I know I can yell and scream at you, but what good will that do?

Father, I want to be sold out to you, and so in love with Jesus I am eat up with it. Please keep moving me toward my surrender, and as Walt said this morning....Please don't take me off the wheel.

Page 14 Being a woman who says yes to God means making the choice to trust Him even when you can't understand why He requires some of the things He does.

Page 14 God absolutely loves to take ordinary people and do extraordinary things in them, through them, and with them.

Page 18 God reveils Himself and His activity to all of us, but very few want an encounter with Him. Encounters cause extreme changes in our plans, our perspectives, and our personhood, and most of us hate change.
The most exciting part of being a christian is experiencing God.
In today's society it is radical to obey God's commands, listen to the Holy Spirit's convictions, and walk in Jesus' character. But we will never experience the radicial blessing God has in store for us without radical obedience. It is the road that leads to blessing. It is what happens when women say yes to God. And you won't find the full blessing until you give walking in obedience your full attention. (Can't just play at this I either have to get serious or get gone)

Father, You are hitting me with the O word, and I don't know if it is worse the the S word. Surrender and Obey..do you have any ideal how hard it is to do this? This seems so flat tonight. I don't know if it is because I am still chewing on Walt's sermon this morning (really doubt that) or because I have unconfessed sin that is blocking up the lines. I think it is the unconfessed sin, the fact that I gossip about Magan and Kevin and what is going on in their lives, even after I have told others to be nice because that is my child. Father forgive me for the evil speak against Magan and Kevin. Father I left them and the situation to You, trusting that You do have it all under control, and that this is the part of breaking and making Magan and Kevin into the family of God that You would have them to be. Father I also need to ask you to forgive me for being ugly with Rusty. Father help me to see him as you do, and to love him with that first love again. I should be more in love with him now then I was 25 years ago, and sometime, most times I am not feeling it. Father help me to be still and hear you speak to me, Father I pray that you will cause me to hear what You have been whispering in my ear, You have to remember I like loud music, so you will probably have to speak up a little. I love You, but I want to love you more. I want to be sold out to You, surrendered and obedient. I want to be in love with Jesus I want Him to be real to me. I want the Holy Spirit to be alive well and working in me. Thank You that as long as there is breath in my body You will not give up on me. Thank you that You alone are God and it is by Your Word that everything moves, and stay where you tell it to. Thank you for this day, it has been good. In Jesus name Amen.

This is the begining

This Blog is a journey of my total surrender to G-d. I make a promise to myself, that this one place where it is safe to be me.

To aid me in this journey I will be using my NKJV Bible, the One Year Bible NLT, The One Year Book of Daily Prayer, and several different books as G-d leads. The current one is What Happens When Women say Yes to G-d by Lysa Terkeurst.

I picked this book up on Wednesday. Patience and I went in Family Christian to look for Books on dream interpretation, and I ended up with this. I came home and read the first two pages I think, got to the word surrender, started bawling and had to stop. Thursday was just a glimpse so here it is Friday and I am digging in again.

Ok Father, here I am please open my eyes to see and my ears to hear You speak to me. Father please loose the Holy Spirit in me to teach and bind the enemy from distracting. Help me Father to make the leap straight into your arms. I ask this in Jesus name Amen.

Page 13 " You simply have to surrender all that's clamoring for attention in your heart with the answer that God is longing to hear spill from your lips, "Yes, G-d"" I am not there yet, I am still asking what will happen when I do will I loose all control? I come to the edge and I stand and look at the far side where Jesus is with His arms out stretched and I even take a step off the side in to the gulf that seperates us, but then I pull back and step back from the edge back into my comfort zone.

Page 14 she talks about women who experience G-d in everything because they have choosen to surrender, I am jealous of that, and I want that, but I am so afraid? No not afraid, how about stiff necked, stubborn, and want my way.

Page 14 "A woman that says yes to G-d is not afraid to be honest with Him"

Page 16 "Being a woman that say yes to G-d means making the choice to trust Him even when you don't understand why He requires some of the things He does" "It also means that once you say yes to G-d, you refuse to turn back, even when things get hard."

My eyes are so tired I can hardly hold them open. I will work on this again tomorrow.
